В нашем случае "Yes" и "No". Естественно, все вопросы должны быть на английском языке.

Did it influence him somehow?
He is someway the result of that War.

Quote (sorciere)
Is he alive BTW?
There is no information about his death.

Quote (sorciere)
Married?
No, as far as I know.

Quote (sorciere)
Any famous children of his?
I'd say - yes, but not the usual common way, you know. I can even say we are much more familiar to his "son".

Let me sum up what we have learnt about this person: an Englishman, bachelor, about 80, no children, a naturalist (he owes it to his friend), has some extraordinary abilities

Correct?

then it must be David Attenborough

but if it is him, then there was a bit of misinformation "In 1950, Attenborough married Jane Oriel; the marriage lasted until her death in 1997. The couple had two children, Robert and Susan."

Correct?

yeah, but missing some critical point... probably it's because of that triteness of some general questions...
Let me give you one clue... It's abour his "son" that is in fact much more a clone ;). And I am absolutely sure you know him very well! I doubt if I ever spoke to a person that didn't know anything about our hero or that clone.

Yeah, that's it! He is "from fiction". And that very special ability of him is a really fictional one!

From an English book? Or is the character English whereas the author is not?

Character is an Englishman as I've said before. And the author was born in England but moved to America later.

Need a clue? Well...Try our hero's clone. I am absolutely sure you're familiar to him. We have two books about that clone - one is a poem and the other contains two novels.

What do you mean by "clone"? the result of a scientific experiment or just a sort of a twin-brother?
If it was a scientific research, was it the goal of it to create this clone or the latter was just a by-product?

Ouh, well. We're talking 'bout the fictional person - do you remember? So, a clone to a fictional person is another fictional person - not the same man as he can be in a translated book, but changed somehow by reteller. As for our hero - his russian clone has the different name and less adventures. And the way he'd got his anusual abilities was never mentioned. But he is very-very popular - I even think he is more popular here then his english-american prototype.
